STUDIO MANAGER
POSITION: Full-Time
WAGE: $19.00/hour (40 hours a week)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Rae Studios is a dance studio overlooking downtown San Francisco, located inside the Native Sons building serving our community since 2011. Our facility features three unique plant-inspired spaces. Studio 1: "Live Your Life S1", Studio 2: "Rhythm and Flow" and Studio 3: "Creative Lab". Our spaces serve as studio rentals and private lessons by day and group classes by evening and weekends. Centralized around hotels, shopping and various restaurants, Rae Studios is easily accessible by BART and MUNI. Our in-person and online group classes feature a diverse instructor roster of 25+ teachers and 40+ classes a week. Our community welcomes people of all levels offering classes focused around dance including yoga for stretching, fitness for strength, cardio for endurance, and dance for technique & training.
The studio manager is responsible for managing the instructors, studio hosts, customer service, memberships, scheduling, and studio sales. The studio manager must be knowledgeable in all operational procedures of the studio including, but not limited to, customer service, reservations systems, and building client relationships. This person is the primary contact for all questions relating to studio operations. We are looking for an energetic individual that can be versatile in job responsibilities, has an approachable personality, and is excited about dance and building community.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Managing 25+ Employees and Contractors

Interviewing and onboarding process for new and returning

Lead monthly and quarterly meetings

Create, manage, and maintain studio schedule and calendar:

Weekly Group Classes (40+ classes a week)

Spotlight workshops and Pop-ups
-
Community and Partnered Events (on-site and off-site)

Workshop Series
-
Studio Rental Inquiries
-
Private Lessons & Wedding Lessons
-
Corporate Wellness Classes
-
Group Private Classes
-
Manage customer service inquiries
-
Generating new members and customer retention
-
Maintain the MindBody and other third-party platforms

Manage studio inventory, purchases, and accounts payable

Inbound and outbound sales
-
Quarterly Sales & Marketing planning
-
Daily / Monthly financial reports
-
Invoicing and payment processing
-
Oversee Marketing and Social Media campaigns between studio hosts and staff

Developing blogs
-
Creating biweekly newsletters
-
Drafting printable flyers
-
Ensure work is delivered on deadline
-
Communicate efficiently with RAE Management Team (RMT) with project updates and any studio concerns

Lead and execute studio projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma, but college degree preferred
-
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proven leadership skills

1-3 years of management experience

Experience with MindBody and general reservation platforms

Previous experience handling outbound and inbound sales

Invoicing and payment processes

Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously

Manage and complete projects within timeline

Excellent verbal and written skills

Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational team player

Ability to lift 25 lbs.

PREFERRED SKILLS
