Christian “CJ” Jemera is a NorCal native originally based in the Central Valley but now lives in San Francisco. Starting in high school he joined the dance teams Rhythm Inc. in Stockton and MVP San Jose, and continued his passion for movement in college by joining the Kilusan Hooligans at University of the Pacific. Besides participating in events as a performer, he often volunteered as an ambassador at community organized competitions in both NorCal and SoCal as well as worked with teams to produce events such as Breakthrough Dance Competition. Most recently he joined as an instructor at CityDance Studios in Summer 2024, later being invited to be a creative collaborator for Bay Area Rising production Your World, Your Runway.

CJ loves exploring movement and creating spaces to share the joy of dance with others. His teaching style combines storytelling with energetic footwork and precise musicality, offering performance building blocks for dancers of all levels. With classes, he wishes to encourage people to unapologetically be yourself and find the fun in having your own voice and expression.
