Malakai (he/him) is an up and coming dancer and choreographer with a strong focus on musicality and isolations. Originally a songwriter and musician, Malakai uses his strong musical background as a foundation when influencing his choreographing process and teaching apparatus to ensure that students understand counts at an educational level. Malakai strives for a safe environment with easy-going classes for dancers that may be new to intermediate level choreography.

Malakai comes from a background in K-Pop derived from an expressed interest by SM Entertainment. He also takes mostly from Hip-hop, with slight undertones of popping, jazz, and tutting. With only two years of dance training, Malakai has already taught pop-up workshops at City Dance in San Francisco, Silki Studios in Oakland, NewVillage.MOVE in Stockton, and Kreations Studio in Sacramento.
