About the Workshop

A 60-minute workshop to help dancers step into performance spaces with confidence, awareness, and professionalism—on and off the stage.

This workshop is designed to support dancers in feeling fully prepared—not just technically, but mentally and energetically—for performance. We’ll cover everything from rehearsal expectations and backstage etiquette to stage presence and how to represent yourself (and your studio) with confidence.Beyond our showcase, this class also explores audience etiquette—helping dancers understand how to show up respectfully and supportively when attending any kind of live performance, from dance and theater to concerts and fine arts events. Dancers will leave with a stronger awareness of how their presence impacts both the performers and the overall experience.

You’ll walk away with clear expectations for rehearsals and showcase day, along with practical tools to manage nerves, stay present, and contribute to a positive, professional environment—whether you’re performing or sitting in the audience. Whether it’s your first showcase or your tenth, this workshop is about learning how to move through performance spaces with intention, respect, and confidence.
