Introducing our Fall 2025 schedule starting October 1st. The new quarter will feature 70+ classes and 35+ instructors across 4 locations in San Francisco with classes daily! We're thrilled to bring our students an updated schedule featuring dynamic instructors throughout the Bay Area, as well as expanding our Neighborhood Programs to two additional location. This season we will be closing out our classes at Union Square ,Mission Rock, and Fisherman's Wharf. A huge thank you to our students who came out and supported our outdoor classes. We've been thrilled to spread the love of dance throughout our wonderful city. Now lets have an amazing send off as we close out in our fall season. UN Plaza to continue through Q4. Thank you to our past instructors who will no longer be teaching with us. We at Rae Studios always value our instructors and honor their growth as they continue to transition in life. To our returning veterans and new teachers starting October 1st 2025, we are excited to start another season celebrating and highlighting your craft and dedication.
Let's continue to support our local teachers this year by showing up ready to create new and memorable experiences. Just a reminder, every little action goes a long way. Jazz Funk [Intermediate]
Tuesdays, 7:45pmĀ (In-Studio)
Sharon is a Bay Area dancer and choreographer who blends hip-hop grooves with the sass of jazz funk. A long time member of Groove Against the Machine and Groobeu, and alumni of Main Stacks,Ā sheās taught at City Dance SF and In the Groove Studios, creating fun, high-energy classes that build confidence and musicality. Expect clean grooves, big performance energy, and a space to let loose and find your flair.
Sarah Medley
K-Pop [All Levels]
Saturdays, 11:00amĀ (UN Plaza)
Sarah (they/them) first joined the Rae Crew as a host back in 2024, though they have been living and working in San Francisco since 2017. Originally from Southern California, Sarah began coaching and choreographing in the competitive cheerleading scene where they first honed their skills as a performer and teacher. It was this love for dynamic formations, sharp, synchronized movement, and overall performance quality that first drew Sarah to K-Pop.
As an instructor, Sarah uses their experience in other styles like Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, and Shuffle to enhance their teaching and educate their students about the origins of many K-Pop concepts and trends. Sarah aims to branch out from the latest releases and teach a range of songs and styles not frequently seen in other K-Pop classes. That being said, Sarah is mostly drawn to the high-energy, dynamic choreographers of the K-Pop industry like Bada Lee, Rie Hata, Back Kooyoung, and BBTrippin.
