What a week bringing in a total of 120+ dancers traveling across the city for BRANDI CHUN! It was an honor for Rae Studios to host this special event watching and being inspired by so many talented dancers in one room. On behalf of everyone at Rae Studios we would like to say thank you to everyone who attended the Spotlight classes featuring Brandi. We are continuously grateful for the support from our students and your willingness to support the artists that come through our doors. Sunday kicked off with back to back Jazz Funk classes which revved up excitement for a large Intermediate Hip Hop class taking place at Equinox Sports Club on Market Street.
We would also like to huge shoutout and a special THANK YOU to our local partners for helping us make these past few days unbelievably amazing and for giving our dance community and Brandi such a wonderful experience:

About the Spotlight: In this class you will be learning jazz funk choreography. We will utilize jazz techniques and hip hop foundations together and work on how to transition between them seamlessly. We’re going to explore different lines, dynamics and textures that will best express the musicality and lyrics. Throughout the learning process we will also simultaneously work on performance and execution quality.

Meet the Instructors:
Originally from O’ahu, HI Brandi Chun began dancing when she was 3 years old and trained at 24-7 Danceforce Studio til she was 18. Right after graduating high school she booked her first job and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional dance career. Some of her credits include Cirque Du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson ONE”, The “Move Beyond” tour w, Julianne/ Derek Hough, and the Disney Jr. Tour. She also has choreographed for companies such as Nissan, WeWork, and Rodan + Fields. Brandi loves to create and travels all over the world to teach and connect with others through dance.
