Introducing our 2026 Fall Schedule that begins on Tuesday, October 1st, 2026!
This year has been more than impactful and full of so many opportunities and connections with our students. We're thrilled to bring you a dynamic training season to close out such an amazing year. While there are many changes to the schedule this season, we look forward to ushering in new instructors and class styles and hope to continue making connections in the fall season.
Thank you to our past instructors who will no longer be teaching at Rae Studios. We at Rae Studios always value our instructors and honor their growth as they continue to transition in life. For veteran and new teachers starting October 1st 2026, we are excited to start another season celebrating and highlighting your craft. Let's continue to support our local teachers this year by showing up ready to create new and memorable experiences. Just a reminder, every little action goes a long way. Bring a friend to class, write a testimonial, share your experience on your social channel or just tell an instructor about your gratitude. Most importantly, enjoy yourself! Rachel Remboldt (she/her)

Rachel Remboldt is a versatile dancer trained primarily in pom, jazz, and hip hop, with a strong foundation built through competitive pom in high school. She expanded her artistry as a member of Release Contemporary Dance Company at UC Davis before spending four seasons as a professional dancer with the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush, where she was honored as the 2022 Performer of the Year. Rachel has choreographed for a range of teams across the Bay Area, her choreography credits include the Saint Mary’s College Dance Team and the Bay Area Panthers.
Florence Wang (she/her)
Contemporary [Int/Adv]

Florence Wang was raised in Columbia, SC, and has been dancing for the past 19 years. Although her primary focus is contemporary, she began her dance journey in classical ballet at the age of 3 at the UofSC Ballet Conservatory, and then later auditioned and joined the Columbia City Jazz Conservatory (CCJC) company where she trained in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz, and competed in conventions–including but not limited to–Nuvo, Jump, 24/7, and Adrenaline. She went on to attend Duke University where she joined Defining Movement Dance group (Duke’s premier multicultural dance group) and Devils en Pointe (Duke’s premier ballet company). In Spring 2020, she helped co-found Duke’s first and only contemporary dance group, Embodiment Contemporary Dance. While serving as president and co-founder, she helped choreograph, lead weekly classes, and teach collaborative workshops for four years. She was also an active member in the Duke Dance department and had her works presented in multiple university dance shows and graduated with a minor in dance. She is super excited to share her love for dance and explore contemporary dance movement in her class!

JJ 'The Killah" is a Bay Area native professional dancer, choreographer, producer and director having worked in the dance industry for the last 20 years. His credits include Little Mix, Rebecca Ferguson, Aaron Carter, Broadway Bares, and Slayground.
Immauri Patterson (he/him)

Immauri is a signed dancer with Rae Agency, who is well-versed in styles such as Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, K-pop, Heels, and Vogueing. He started on a street hip hop dance team 16 years ago, trained in musical theater, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, Bollywood, and afro in high school, to become the first male tiger dancer at University of the Pacific.
As a member of 2024 Sac Dance Company’s Cast, Immauri has performed at multiple professional venues and trained all over California. He’s trained under dancers such as Wren Crisologo, Jaron Wong, and now King Mosi. Now on Holmbase, 2025 breakout team of the year (Sac Dance Awards), he strives for foundational strengthening and growth development through all styles.

Nigel Shum is a Bay Area dancer, choreographer, and instructor with extensive training across multiple disciplines, including Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary, and Jazz. Raised in San Jose, he developed his technique and performance skills through competitive studio dance from an early age.
He currently serves as a faculty member at Rae Studios in San Francisco and Jungle Studios across the South Bay, alongside his role as a full-time educator at Valley Christian Schools. As an active choreographer/teacher, he is all about creating an encouraging, upbeat space where dancers can push their limits, level up their technique, and have a blast doing it.
