Updated: Jun 7, 2023

On behalf of everyone at Rae Studios we would like to say thank you to everyone who attended the Spotlight Special featuring The Most Bad Ones. We are continuously grateful for the support from our students and your willingness to support and learn from our amazing instructors. Sundday's classes were co-taught by instructors Stephanie Gonzalez & Shanice Fernandez. Students in our Performance Choreo class got to learn a sexy piece to "Planez" by J. Cole while our Heels class picked up the pace with a fast moving piece featuring "Princess Diana" by Ice Spice. Check out photos and videos from Sunday's class and group class video here.

Meet the Instructors:

Shanice Fernandez is a professional dancer and choreographer out of Hialeah, FL. She is trained in Hip-hop, Jazz, Jazz-Funk, and heels, just to name a few. For the past six years, she has been touring the world with Pitbull as an official member of The Most Bad Ones. In 2020, she appeared in the Super Bowl halftime show with none other than Jennifer Lopez. Shanice has worked alongside numerous artists in the industry including: Ne-Yo, Flo-Rida, Blake Shelton, Lil Jon, J-Balvin, and Britney Spears.

She will not stop until she reaches her desired destination, always continuously striving towards achieving all her goals.

In my class, you will have a safe place to learn and explore movement. We will warm up, go over techniques, and learn a fun and sexy combo equipped for any dance space!

Before taking this class, I invite you to ask yourself “What do I want to take away from this?”. Is it Technique? Confidence? Or just to have a good time? Set an intention. Set the date. And I hope to see you there!

Stephanie Gonzalez is a professional dancer and choreographer from Miami, Florida. Growing up, Stephanie began dancing at the age of 3 starting in tap and ballet at Dancers Gallery. At the age of 6, Stephanie began dancing competitively in jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip hop at Intensity Dancers’ Studio. She competed until the age of 18, as well as being the Captain of the Barbara Goleman Senior High Jewels Dance Team and leading them to a 3rd place National Title at NDA. From there, she continued to train in Miami and decided she wanted to take on the commercial dance atmosphere. After many no’s and passes, Stephanie persevered and got her first professional job dancing for Austin Mahone. From there, she decided to take her dedication to dance seriously. She danced for the Miami Marlins Mermaids, Miami Heat Dancers, and from there joined The Most Bad Ones, Pitbull’s official dancers. Other credits Stephanie has received are: Luis Fonsi, Nicole Sherzinger, DJ Khaled, Ozuna, Zion y Lennox,

Nicky Jam and many others. Stephanie hopes to instill her passion and commitment to the art of dance to others and to promote confidence and individuality through dancing. Her favorite mantra is to always reach for the moon; even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.

Megan Avilés is a dancer and a dreamer who grew up in Miami Lakes, FL. She trained in Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Ballet, Heels, and began her professional career dancing with the Miami Marlins MLB Dance Team, 2018-2021. In between, she also danced for latin artists such as Becky G, Gente De Zona, Sech, and Daddy Yankee, while performing in award shows and music videos. Shortly after, Megan toured in Karol G’s Bichota U.S. Tour and performed in several festivals across North and Latin America. Since a young girl, Megan’s goal was to travel the world while dancing, and today she is proud to say that she is living that dream with The Most Bad Ones, Pitbull’s official team of dancers. It’s performing on stage for live audiences around the world she loves mosts; however, on her off time she works as a dance instructor at Confidance, teaching dance to people of all ages encouraging self confidence. She believes your mindset is what creates your reality.
