Maximize your slay with SoHo with a new Vogue spotlight!
In this class, we will learn the fundamentals of Vogue Femme. We will be breaking down elements of performance and Vogue choreography like duckwalks, catwalks, spins and dips. Going through a warm up, learning choreography, and coming together with a cypher to get the real feel of Vogue culture.
Vogue, or voguing, is a highly stylized, modern house dance originating in the late 1980s that evolved out of the Harlem ballroom scene of the 1960s. ​​It gained mainstream exposure when it was featured in Madonna's song and video "Vogue" (1990), and in the 1990 documentary Paris Is Burning. Voguing incorporates five elements including duck walk, hand performance, spins & dips, catwalk and floor performance.

Soho (he/him) is a professional dancer/Voguer that’s has been voguing and in the ballroom scene for over 12 years. Soho was a featured contestant on HBO Max Legendary Season 3 and member of the haus of Tisci.
