Studio Background:

Rae Studios was originally created in 2012 by Jessica Rae as a space for Rae Agency talent to rehearse and train. Our plan was to create a few classes available to the public but to keep our focus on the Agency. Our space (now called Studio 2) is 700 square feet of dance studio space, full length mirrors, ballet barres, free-weights, yoga mats and blocks, photo backdrops for rentals (various colors), surround sound, and large reception waiting area. In 2016 we begin looking for additional studio space but found many challenging area’s in the San Francisco commercial market. We currently host over 20 classes on a

weekly schedule, private & corporate lessons on & off site, and studio rentals at are max out of our popular classes.

Our Studio Expansion Progress:

Rae Studios has been in the search of an additional studio for nearly 2 years. With sold out classes and an eager community of instructors and students, we’ve found the best convenient space for expansion. Our expansion began August 2018 with a soft opening December followed by our New Year, New Me Celebration Grand Opening January 5th 2019. Looking to expand from our current dance studio space into our new expansion space (Studio 1) that focuses on more dance and fitness classes. Our target goal is 40-50 students in Studio 1 and targeting 15 students inside Studio 2, our current space.

Our two spaces are listed as the following:

Studio 1: “Live Your Life” focused on high impact classes

Studio 2: Rhythm & Flow” focused on dance training, low impact and sculpting classes

Live Your Life - Studio 1

Rhythm & Flow - Studio 2

Our current 2019 schedule combines classes to encourage and strengthen a dancers fundamentals along with strength and flexibility training. With our variety of classes offered, we appeal to our local SF students whose goals range from gaining fitness stamina to dancing in high-intensity cardio dance to perfecting their dance technique. Both studios are located on the 7th floor of 414 Mason Street inside San Francisco’s Native Sons of the Golden West, a historic preservation and organization founded in 1875. Rae Studio’s overviews San Francisco’s Union Square and is a neighbor of newly renovated August Hall / 5th Arrow Bowling and Pizza, formerly known as Ruby Skye.

Our goal is to provide San Francisco dance seekers with community, growth and participation through artistic outlets of music + movement. Our culture is simple; create a space for dance and community to thrive, water the roots of our passion, fuel our dreams by action, and inspire others to do the same.
