Spotlight: Jazz Funk [Int/Adv] with Leah Roga

Join Leah on June 9th to enjoy a supportive, fun, and empowering class environment!
This 1.5 hour high-energy session will be in true Jazz Funk style. After a quick warmup, attendees will learn a minute-long combination and be split into smaller groups for spacing. Sneakers or barefoot are acceptable, whichever is preferred. Any elements of technique will have modifications for those who need. Get ready to have fun, feel confident, and showcase enthusiasm for others!

Leah Roga is a seasoned dancer and current professional cheerleader with a rich background in the world of dance. Leah graduated from UCLA with a degree in Communications and Digital Media where she was also Captain of the UCLA Dance Team, helping to lead the team and choreograph performances at venues such as the Rose Bowl and Pauley Pavilion. With over 10 years of both professional and collegiate experience, Leah brings a wealth of knowledge from commercial industry dance, collegiate dance, NBA pro dance, and pro cheer to her classes. Her commercial work experience includes performances alongside acclaimed artists like Gwen Stefani and Janet Jackson, as well as appearances on shows like "America's Got Talent" and "Dance Off". Leah's passion for dance is matched by her commitment to inspiring others.

I've been looking for a new dance class to get into and this sounds perfect! Jazz Funk has always intimidated me but Leah's supportive approach seems like a great way to dive in. Also kind of funny - learning a dance routine kind of feels like following a Minecraft Recipe, you need all the right steps in order to build something awesome!
eah's classes are always so much fun and really push you! I love the energy she brings, and the combinations are challenging but totally doable. Planet Clicker It's a great way to get a workout and feel amazing afterwards. Definitely recommend!
Omg, so hyped to see this feature on Leah! Her energy is absolutely unmatched, every single class of hers at Rae Studios is a literal movie. But fr, her choreos are such a workout—every time I get home from her class, my body is completely spent. I usually just collapse on my bed, scrolling through the choreo videos, and mindlessly play some casual browser games on minigame just to decompress and let my muscles recover lol. If you haven't taken her class yet, you're missing out!
