Way to go dancers! We had an INT Jazz Funk Spotlight led by the one and only JJ Ghera, on Saturday May 23rd, 2026 and you all showed up in your full-out energy, laser focus, and astonishing execusion! Bravo! On behalf of Rae Studios we'd like to give a very special Thank You to JJ for coming out and leading this amazing spotlight by sharing their passion and knowledge with us! We hope you all enjoyed the class and we're looking forward to the next time we are lucky enough to have JJ Back in the studio.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
JJ 'The Killah" is a Bay Area native professional dancer, choreographer, producer and director having worked in the dance industry for the last 20 years. His credits include Little Mix, Rebecca Ferguson, Aaron Carter, Broadway Bares, and Slayground.
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
JJ “The Killah” leads an high energy 2 hour dance masterclass designed to push dancers beyond their limits while sharpening their artistry. The session dives deep into dynamic choreography, with a strong emphasis on retention—training dancers to pick up and execute material quickly and confidently. Dancers will refine their movement quality, focusing on precision, texture, and intentionality in every step. JJ’s teaching style challenges participants to embody the music fully, blending technique with raw performance energy. Throughout the class, dancers are encouraged to break past comfort zones and develop a stronger, more authentic stage presence. By the end, participants leave not only with choreography, but with elevated confidence and a deeper connection to their craft.
