RECAP | Ballet w/ Alek & Emmanuel

On behalf of Rae Studios we want to give a huge thank you to everyone that attended our All Levels Ballet Spotlight with Alek & Emmanuel this past Saturday! We were super excited to be able to have a full length ballet class with these two amazing instructors, inviting us to have double the fun. With alternating combinations and instruction, dancers were able to take home with them a better understanding of human anatomy, physics, and a greater vocabulary of ballet movement. Check out some of the photos and video from Saturday's class HERE.

Workshop Details:

Join Alek and Emmanuel for a special two-hour collaborative ballet intensive designed to elevate your technique, artistry, and performance quality.

The class will begin with a comprehensive barre focused on building strength, alignment, coordination, and musicality. Dancers will then progress into center work, where both instructors will guide students through exercises that challenge balance, control, and movement quality.

The second half of class will feature focused technical training across the floor. Emmanuel will lead dancers through turning exercises and combinations, emphasizing proper mechanics, spotting, control, and confidence in pirouettes and traveling turns. Alek will concentrate on jumps and allegro work, helping dancers develop power, elevation, precision, and dynamic movement quality.

This unique collaboration offers students the opportunity to benefit from two distinct teaching perspectives while refining essential ballet fundamentals and advancing their technical skills in a supportive and challenging environment.
