SF Vaccination and Mask Mandate Update | Booster Welcome + Medical Exemptions 2/1/2022

Proof of Vaccination Required for Entry, Mask Optional for Up-to-Date Vaccinated Individuals, Medical Exepemtions, and Updated Policies

Hello Community,

Masking requirements are being lessened as of February 1st for individuals Up-to-Date with their vaccinations in stable cohorts. That means masks are optional at Rae Studios for those that are:

(a) two weeks past completing the full initial course of vaccines—either two doses of Moderna or Pfizer or one dose of a Johnson & Johnson vaccine

AND

(b) one week past receiving a booster when eligible. This update still requires proof of vaccination to enter our studio.

The proof of vaccination does not apply to individuals ineligible for vaccinations, including children under 5 years old. Unvaccinated individuals with proof of medical exemptions will be allowed to enter with either a negative rapid antigen test taken within the day before entry or a negative PCR laboratory test taken within 2 days before entry. Tests taken before that time period will NOT be accepted. A photo taken of a self-administered rapid antigen test (such as an at-home test) is NOT acceptable proof of a negative test. Verification of the test result from a third party will be needed. A printed or electronic document from the test provider or laboratory may be used. Masks must be properly worn at all times. Those who fail to comply will be barred from entering.

All in-studio and outdoor classes will continue to operate without any physical distancing. Due to the highly transmissible nature of the virus and the continued surge in cases, we recommend everyone to continue wearing their mask when possible. For us, the health and safety of our staff, students, and community is our top priority. Our mission at Rae Studios has, and will always be for the well-being of our community while providing a healthy, progressive environment that is welcoming and inclusive for all. We understand the severity of the pandemic, as we have taken every precaution to make sure that all guidelines, with the addition of our own measures, comply with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to social gathering and business directives, to proactively do our part to stop the spread of the virus. We are extremely proud to have been operating without any outbreaks due to our safety measures in place. We are closely monitoring and following official CDC and SFDPH recommendations and mandates. As things continue to change, we will adjust our safety measures and guidelines in alignment with the above agencies to ensure the well-being of our staff and community.

Getting a vaccination is quick, easy, safe, AND it's free regardless of immigration or insurance status. Vaccinations are available at your local hospital, CVS, Walgreen, Safeway, and more. Both walk-ins and appointments are available. Visit https://myturn.ca.gov for more info.

Rae Studios has shifted some of our in-studio classes to a Hybrid format. These class updates are live on our website, MindBody, Classpass, and Gympass.

We've already brought back our Hybrid model for some classes, which allows our students to take classes in-person or from the safety of their homes. This will help keep reservations as high as possible and, most importantly, keep Rae Studios in business. This is a necessary step to ensure everyone's health and safety. This means that hybrid classes will have a virtual station set-up in Studio 1 & Studio 2. Please note, this action plan will be our temporary solution until cases decrease and masks mandates are fully lifted.

While we continue to make changes to our operations and schedule, we ask that you check the MindBody app to see the latest updates. All In-studio classes must be purchased through our website or through the MindBody app,
